1956

MACRO S.L. was founded in 1956 as a construction auxiliary company, for the opening of trenches in construction sites and buildings, working with branches throughout Spain for the leading Spanish construction companies of the time.

Initially, trench opening work was done by hand, using a hammer and chisel. Given the arduous and slow nature of the work, Macro decided to design and manufacture a trench opening machine to make trench opening faster, cleaner, and safer. These machines were not sold commercially; they were solely for the exclusive use of our trench workers.

This first model of Wall Chasers was designed by a team of engineers, with the aim of making a reliable and robust machine, built to last.

1970S

This model was later improved and modified according to the daily experience that our 450 workers distributed throughout the Spanish geography continuously provided. In this stage we launched four new models of different Wall Chasers looking for greater hardness and ease of work.

80s-90s

In 1981, after 25 years of experience with excellent results, we decided to begin marketing our unique wall chaser model to the general public throughout Spain. It wasn’t until 1990 that we began exporting our wall chaser. Portugal was our first international destination. At the same time, we continued to improve the product, especially with the M90 wall chaser, which was improved year after year. Later, we introduced the SC100 model with a polycarbonate cover and a more powerful motor.

2012-2013

2019

In 2019, we continued our international expansion and took another step forward in the renewal of our MACROZA wall chaser models. Thus, we brought to market our most powerful, lightweight, ergonomic, and user-friendly model, the MACROZA SC300PRO. Furthermore, at the request of many of our customers, we are bringing back our most successful model, the MACROZA M90, updated with a more powerful engine and state-of-the-art materials.
