MACROZA Milling Cutter Wall Chasers make exceptionally easy, clean and fast the chasing job in walls and partition walls due to its exclusive design and extraordinary performance.
MACROZA M90, M95 & SC300 PRO wall chasers are light & versatile, the ideal machines to work in places where efficient, robust & reliable tools are required. Its fast and clean cut avoids damaging the walls and waste material at construction sites.
MACROZA Wall Chasers are aimed at professional contractors, easing the hard work of embedding wires, conduits and pipes for the electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning industries.
Thanks to their exclusive design, no much dust is produced and the machine’s weight is borne by the wall, not by the operator.

Currently we have three models designed to suit different materials and job applications: MACROZA M90, M95 and SC300 PRO.
MACROZA Wall Chasing machines are able to work on the following materials:
Hollow Clay brick
Solid Clay brick
Cement blocks
AAC block

Working with Macroza
It is very important the wall chaser is held in the correct way. Please refer to the instruction booklet indications.
On below photos we can appreciate the correct way in which the MACROZA wall chasers should be held.
To start working with our MACROZA wall chaser switch on the machine with the milling cutter rotating in the air to test the turning direction.
Milling cutter’s teeth should move forward. To start the work, lean the MACROZA Wall Chaser against the wall and slowly introduce the cutter in it. Hold the machine firmly to avoid initial vibrations.
Vertical chases are done from top to bottom. Right hand should hold on to rear handle and switch while the left hand firmly grips on the milling cutter cover.
Left hand guides the chaser machine bearing most of the force. Once the cutter has entered the wall, pull down MACROZA wall chaser with both hands thus producing a straight vertical cut.
It is very important the machine is being held in the right position as shown on the pictures below.
To open oblique or diagonal chases we will proceed in a similar way.
Horizontal chases are done from right to left. The right hand holds the wall chaser by the right side of the milling cutter cover and pushes leftwards.
Right arm will lean on to the machine and push also leftward from the left hand side. Left hand holds the machine by the rear handle and operates the switch.
On the pictures below we see the right position of both hands.
It is very important the machine is being held in the right position as shown on the pictures.
Horizontal chases close to the floor are done from left to right.
Right hand holds the machine by the rear handle and operates the switch. Left hand holds the milling cutter cover from the left hand side and pushes to the right.
Thanks to MACROZA’s exclusive design, the operator will be able to work on difficult access sites.
In the following pictures we can see how chases close to the floor are done. It is very important the machine is being held in the right position.
Milling cutter blade Wall Chasers are the only ones in the market capable of opening round chases. To do so, we will start from the traditional way of opening chases as shown before.
When opening vertical and/or horizontal chases, a difference in movement from one hand to the other will produce a curved cut.
On the following pictures we see different hand positions to produce a round chase.
With MACROZA it is possible to open chases wider than standard chases achieved by the milling cutter diameter.
To open wider chases we will do two parallel chases next to one another to obtain desired width. Later we will mill the centre out by swinging the machine from one side to the other.
To open chases for switch and gear boxes we will employ a similar method.
On the following pictures we can see the right position of both hands.
As always it is very important the machine is being held in the right position.
MDE1 Dust Collector
MACROZA M95 & SC300 PRO wall chasers can adapt a dust collection device to avoid dust & debris production.
The milling cutter cover comes with the option of screwing in an aluminum tube which will be connected to the vacuum’s hose.
If dust collection is not required, the milling cutter cover will be closed with an aluminum cap. This will help to collect all dust & debris on the milling cutter cover to be later discarded onto the floor.
From MACROZA we recommend use our MDE1 dust collector, specially designed to collect dust and the small pieces of debris produced.

High capacity vacuum system with electric telehandle system
MACROZA milling cutter wall chasers are directly connected to the vacuum system. By switching on the wall chaser, the vacuum system will be switched on as well.
After switching off the wall chaser, the vacuum system MCV1 will remain running for another 10 seconds to empty the vacuum tube of dust and debris.

Maintenance
KEEPING YOUR WALL CHASER WELL SERVICED WILL EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR EQUIPMENT
We strongly recommend that all maintenance of our Wall Chasers is carried out at an official Macroza Technical Service Centre.
Regular maintenance should be done to ensure best performance on your wall chaser.
Milling Cutter Sharpening
Check state of milling cutter’s Tungsten Carbide tips every hour approx to en sure perfect cutting. Replace if blunt.
Wall Chaser cleaning
After work clean the wall chaser and remove all traces of dust. If necessary, blow shots of compressed air through the machine’s ventilation slots to remove remaining dust.
All MACROZA Wall Chasers used on daily basis should be checked at least once a month.
Bearings
It is very important to check if there is any play in the bearings. At the slightest play we strongly recommend change bearings. Failure to do so may lead to severe failures in the machine engine.
In normal working conditions and due to the harsh nature of the chasing job, it may be necessary to change the bearings on monthly basis.
Carbon brushes
Look through the chaser’s lateral ventilation slots to check whether there are sparks produced by the carbon brushes in the coil. If necessary replace carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon brushes.
We strongly recommend use our MACROZA Tool Kit.
At Macroza we have developed a new tool set especially designed to open & repair our machines in an easy, fast and safe way.
Each single piece of tool has been developed to be able to service all parts of our wall chasers without damaging the body case.
This tool set has been long used at our assembly plant and our own technical services. Now, we bring it to our authorized network of technical services in Spain and to our distributor network internationally.
For other wall chaser’s spare parts there are no maintenance period defined.
They will be replaced as necessary.
MACROZA has an Official Technical Service Centre network to provide you with excellent service and fast repairs.
Use always original MACROZA spare parts. Use of non-original MACROZA spare parts may lead to machine damage and will be considered a breach of MACROZA’s warranty terms.
